REQUIREMENTS

  • Fluent in French or Dutch with a good standard of written and spoken English
  • Previous experience in a reception or administrative role
  • Good knowledge in all Microsoft Office programs (including Word, Excel & Outlook); competent user of the internet
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Positive, proactive attitude in identifying issues at the earliest opportunity and in responding to internal and external queries
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with people at all levels
  • Have entrepreneurial spirit and be forth coming with different ideas
  • Discretion when supporting activities and handling sensitive data

ABOUT THE ROLE

Then you could be a good fit for our bustling and vibrant Brussels office as a Receptionist.
This is an on-site role where you will be working in a client-facing environment representing EPAM, being a first point of contact, providing an excellent front of house service as well as administrative assistance to support the Office Manager, EPAMers and our visitors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meeting and greeting guests in a friendly, secure and polite manner
  • Providing a safe and pleasant user-friendly (and sustainable) office environment
  • Supporting the Office Manager with Health & Safety and Fire Officer responsibilities
  • Responsibility for the management of meeting rooms, setting up ahead of each meeting and ensuring they are well-kept
  • Answering and receiving phone calls and dealing efficiently with external/internal inquiries and escalating messages effectively
  • Distributing incoming mail to the respective staff, organizing local and global courier shipments
  • Checking inventory on regular basis and ordering office and kitchen supplies (stationary, refreshments, purchases)
  • Assisting the Office Manager in all aspects of event planning and implementation such as hosted meetings, offsite meetings, conferences, and staff parties
  • Assist the Senior Management team with any administrative task in relation to their day-to-day activities
  • Assisting the Office Manager with ad-hoc facilities requests
