We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Receptionist to join our Customer Service team in Langley, BC.
Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, you will be the ambassador for our company and are the first and last impression that our visitors have of our office. You will be responsible for answering incoming phone and e-mail inquiries, receiving and greeting visitors, and managing new vendor voicemails and corporate communications.
You will be responsible for:
- Resolving and tending to comments, questions, concerns and requests by telephone and email including documentation and tracking.
- Facilitating security and check-in procedures for visitors to the Langley Office.
- Operating the computerized switchboard for internal and external customers.
- Paging First Aid Attendants in the event first aid is required.
- Providing support to the stores with Bulk Gift Card orders, BCCH Lottery programs and Foresee Survey responses.
- Coordinating and ordering floral and gift basket orders for the office and ensuring all floral receipts are accounted for and processed for reconciliation.
- Creating and updating the Reception Wiki page.
- Training team members on reception coverage.
- Assisting and supporting with the preparation of conferences and company events as needed.
- Maintaining the front entrance including watering plants, organizing the front area, and ensuring the water station is full.
You have:
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
- The ability to type a minimum of 50 WPM min.

- Able to demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Outgoing and loves to interact with customers over the phone.
- A great multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent in both verbal and written communication.

Compensation Details:
$43,680.00 - $54,600.00
The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
