Description:
Summary: Responsible for answering the company phones and greeting visitors. Serve as the first point of contact for new visitors and callers to the company.
Duties and Responsibilities: Answer the phones in a friendly, helpful and efficient manner. Greet vendors, customers, applicants etc. and direct them to the appropriate company personnel. Keep track of the whereabouts of key personnel and process their calls and messages. Open and distribute company mail and assist the accounting area with filing if needed. Provide back-up support to the Accounting Department with Bill of Ladings, Invoices and entering items on specific spreadsheets. This position is also responsible for all the mailings that need to be sent out via US Mail or FEDEX. This position also will comply with all company policies and procedures along with any additional duties as assigned by Management.
Education and/or Experience: HS Diploma or GED, Two (2) years of general office experience, friendly and professional image and demeanor. Experience with MS Word and also with EXCEL. This position is for a self motivated person with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
Language Skills: Excellent speaking and phone communications skills.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment can be loud at times if needing to go on the production floor.
REQUIREMENTS:
This position has majority of the interaction with customers via telephone, email and visits to the facility. Organizational skills and working independently are a priority for this position
