Description:
This position is a combination of Reception duties, Social Media marketing, and administration at our luxury salon, spa and clinic.
We’d like you to create engaging content for Instagram, Facebook and Tik Tok, to promote our luxury treatments and products and to also grow our following.
You’ll work with our owner, planning out the promotion of our monthly special offers, and devising content.
Each week you’ll also allocate time to administrative duties including uploading invoices, , contacting suppliers to chase up invoices and cross reference payments, and liaising with a book-keeper.
When on reception you will greet and attend to clients, which means you will be responsible for providing an excellent first impression to represent Radiant Living.
Duties on reception will include:
- Greeting clients, obtaining correct paperwork
- Booking appointments
- Ensuring clients are taken care of, coordinating their visit if they have multiple appointments
- Taking payments, cashing up
- Entering client information into database / software
- Taking phone calls, monitoring and replying to queries via Email, Facebook and Instagram
- A basic understanding of treatments is desirable
- Keeping reception clean, tidy, and presentable
- Closing the building
It would help if you have had experience in the hair or beauty industry, as you will have a good understanding of what is required.
Permanent Position. 18 hours per week.
Mondays (admin / social media) 9-3 or 10-4, Thursdays on reception 4-8pm, and up to 12 Saturdays per year. Fridays (admin / marketing) 9-2 or 1-6

SUMMARY
As a Receptionist/Salon Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your core skills in computer proficiency, phone etiquette, and organisational abilities will be essential in managing front desk operations and administrative tasks. You will also assist with marketing efforts and support IT-related functions. With your premium office experience and relevant knowledge of Microsoft Office, Xero, and data entry, you will contribute significantly to the smooth running of the salon and enhance client satisfaction.
