As our Corporate Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and vendors at our headquarters. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive first impression and ensuring smooth office operations.
Pay range:
$20.00 TO $21.00/HOUR
Santa Monica Seafood Company is a leading family-owned seafood distributor with a nationwide presence. Our corporate headquarters in Rancho Dominguez serves as the nerve center for our operations across the country. We are seeking a professional and personable Corporate Receptionist to be the face of our company and manage our front desk operations.
Job Overview:
As our Corporate Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and vendors at our headquarters. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive first impression and ensuring smooth office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and vendors in a professional and friendly manner
- Manage the front desk, including answering and directing phone calls, and handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Maintain security protocols by issuing visitor badges and ensuring all guests sign in and out
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, including preparing conference rooms and arranging catering when needed
- Assist with basic administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document preparation
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
- Coordinate travel arrangements for executives and staff as required
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Support other departments with clerical tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a corporate environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Experience with multi-line phone systems

Work Schedule:
