Position Summary: A busy Family Medicine, Behavioral Health & Weight Loss & Nutrition Center is looking for a PRN/on call receptionist/scheduler. Successful candidate must maintain a professional image in the office and in all communications. Must be able to multi-task while maintaining good patient and staff relations along with providing outstanding customer service.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Taking all incoming calls and scheduling appointments for patients
  • Greeting patients and registration
  • Take payments.
  • Task RX refill
  • Faxing /Texting patients
  • Must be able to work well as a team player and be able to work on your own individual responsibilities.
  • Must provide courteous and friendly customer service; be able to work under pressure in a very busy office.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have excellent customer service skills, a great phone voice and telephone etiquette.
  • Must be great with people and very friendly with strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Must have a high school diploma and one-year plus experience in customer service in a health care environment.
  • Able to speak Spanish is a plus but not required.
