Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Welcome visitors, answer calls, and manage incoming and outgoing mail
  • Perform various scanning and data entry tasks
  • Provide general support to the accounting department
  • Enter direct deposits from clients and assist in verifying client invoices
  • Draft various communications (letters, memos, posters, emails, etc.)
  • Support human resources in the hiring process and onboarding of new employees
  • Prepare international shipments and related documentation (export/customs, etc.)
  • Manage supplies (stationery, office and kitchen supplies, etc.)
  • File various accounting documents
  • Perform any other related tasks

Skills and Competencies

  • Be courteous, smiling, empathetic, well-groomed, and maintain a high level of professionalism
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French (90% English as our clients are mainly in other provinces of Canada)
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite: Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of an accounting system (an asset)
  • Excellent sense of priorities, organization, and planning
  • Fast data entry skills, autonomous and versatile
  • Good team spirit and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must demonstrate discretion and judgment

Education and Experience

  • D.E.P. or D.E.C. in secretarial studies or office technology (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position

Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM – (40 hours per week)
  • Permanent full-time position
  • On-site – 3405, rue F.-X.-Tessier, Vaudreuil-Dorion (Québec) J7V 5V5
