Description:

This role will be based at Taith Newydd, Low Security Unit within Glanrhyd Hospital in Bridgend.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Secure Services & Recovery Division of Swansea Bay University Health Board to join us as a Receptionist within Taith Newydd.
The receptionist role will provide administration and general office functions for the Taith Newydd, Low Security Unit. The post holder will be the first point of contact for individuals entering the unit.
Receptionist duties include upholding and complying with Swansea Bay University Health Board policies and procedures, and to ensure these are professionally maintained at all times in order to maintain the welfare and safety of staff, patients, visitors and the general public.
The post-holder may also be expected to undertake a broad range of administrative duties within Taith Newydd as and when required. This may include, supporting the ward managers with ward or patient-related administration, while protecting the confidential nature of the service which is provided within Taith Newydd at all times.
We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic individual who is organised, possesses excellent communication skills, has a pleasant personality, has the ability to work under pressure, and enjoys working as part of a very busy team. The ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook would be expected.
There is a requirement for the successful candidate to be flexible with regard to the days they work to support service delivery and sufficient staffing levels. As a team member, the post holder will be expected to work flexible days/half days/hours weekly between the hours of 06:30hrs - 20:00hrs Sunday to Saturday (open 7 days a week)
Previous experience of working in a busy reception/customer facing role and providing excellent customer service is essential.
