Responsibilities:

· Offer the highest level of customer service to guests of The Highland Club
· Answer emails and phone calls promptly and professionally
. Respond to guest enquiries about bookings, apartment details and local area information
. Contact guests or agents to gather additional information about reservations when necessary
. Communicate with guests through platforms such as Eviivo, Wix, GuestTalk or other platforms as deemed appropriate
· Greet and accommodate guests in reception, offering snacks, making coffee as needed
· Daily upkeep of cleaning in the Reception for guests.
· Check ins and check outs
· Manage onsite bookings and guest purchases
· Receive and manage deliveries and post, ensuring they are delivered to the correct department or guest.
· Familiarity with booking and guest communication platforms (hands on training will be provided)
· Weekly reception inventory check, notify supervisor of levels of supply
· Sell merchandise and distribute marketing materials to guests
· Informing guests on check in the services that we offer, (daily servicing, linen change, pool towels)
. Assist guests with any special requests or concerns during their stay
. Clean and maintain the Sports Simulator room, check guests in, verify their reservations and ensure proper usage policies are communicated
. Demonstrate how to use the Sports Simulator, provide assistance with any operational questions
· Keep the Resort Manager and Housekeeping Manager informed of all matters requiring attention, any special requests or guest complaints
· Job Type : Full-time (40 hours per week)/ Part time (20 hours a week)
· Working Hours: Varied shifts to cover reception opening hours (8am -8pm, 7 days a week)·
Accommodation: Part of salary offering – On site shared accommodation at the discretion of management (charged £150 monthly for accommodation utilities only, based on fair use)
· Auto-enrolment Pension contribution will commence following the completion of 3 months of employment (if qualified for).
Summary
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our organization, responsible for creating a welcoming environment for guests. Your core skills in phone etiquette, organizational abilities, and administrative experience will be essential in managing incoming calls, taking reservations, and maintaining office efficiency. Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite, will support your daily tasks. With your attention to detail and clerical experience, you will contribute significantly to the smooth operation of our office and enhance overall guest satisfaction.
