Description:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of various administration procedures and practices
- Excellent word processing and computer skills
- Familiarity with scheduling and booking processes
- Ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions
- Performs other duties as assigned
Successful candidates, prior to hiring, may be required to provide:

- A clean drivers abstract
- Completion of our online Armatus Abuse Training and required Health and Safety training

Responsibilities:
- Performs general office duties such as answers telephone and directs and/or responds to inquires; greets visitors and directs them to the appropriate person(s); files documents electronically or manually.
- Takes calls/inquiries about bookings for rental groups
- Sets up client appointments and registers clients for classes and special events
- Prepares routine documentation such as forms, letters, memo, email and may keep records; checks typing for accuracy, sorts and prioritizes typing assignments within general guidelines.
- Assists in maintaining adequate office and other supplies.
- Provides administrative and/or special project support as assigned.
- Prepares and receives all paperwork for various projects and processes.
- Keeps the reception area clean and organize.
- Manages rental groups who are on site, ensuring safety protocols are always followed.
- Attends performance reviews.
- Reviews information and client forms to ensure correct information and relevance.
- May support the Administrative Coordinator with opening mail and processing out-going mail; receives parcel(s) and distributes to the appropriate person(s).
- May draft and prepare presentations (including PowerPoint, invitations, certificates.)
- Makes calls for various events requiring support i.e. Neighbourhood Welcome, Kettles, Food Bank
- Receives donations and issues receipts according to Territorial Finance Manual 6009.3
