- Experience in a Physiotherapy clinic and Jane system is an asset
SUMMARY
In the role of Receptionist/Therapy Assistant, you will be integral to providing outstanding customer service and administrative support within our organization. Reporting to the office manager, you will utilize your core skills in Microsoft Office, Jane system, and phone etiquette to manage front desk operations and assist with patient interactions. Additionally, your familiarity with physiotherapy office environments, direct billing and customer support will enhance the overall patient experience, making you a vital part of our team.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 22 – 35 per week

Responsibilities:
- Answer telephone calls, greet patients and visitors upon arrival, and provide excellent customer service for all questions or concerns
- Coordinate a detailed and accurate intake of information on the patient’s first visit to the clinic and throughout their treatment plan
- Assist patients with completing paperwork at the clinic to avoid errors and inaccurate information
- Coordinate scheduling of patient appointments and maintain the patient’s medical record
- Collect payment at time of service
- Track coverage for all funding streams to ensure approval
- Complete data entry and billing
- Set up equipment and prepare treatment areas for therapy sessions
- Provide support and assistance to patients during therapy sessions
- Maintain a clean and organized clinic and treatment area
