JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires excellent organisational skills, a strong clerical background, and proficiency in various computer applications. The Receptionist will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment.

SKILLS

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Proficient in clerical and administrative duties with attention to detail
  • Excellent computer skills, including familiarity with Google Suite and QuickBooks
  • Demonstrated ability in data entry with a high level of accuracy
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • A friendly demeanour with a professional approach to customer service
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and professional manner
  • Answer and direct phone calls with excellent phone etiquette
  • Manage the reception area to ensure it is tidy and presentable
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and photocopying documents
  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars for staff members
  • Support financial operations by using QuickBooks for invoicing and bookkeeping tasks
  • Utilise Google Suite for document creation, spreadsheets, and presentations
