Role overview
The firm is looking to recruit a Receptionist to join the Nottingham office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing reception services, the typing of correspondence, following in-house administration procedures, and supporting the Administration Team as and when required.

Job description

  • Covering reception – taking telephone calls, meeting and greeting clients.
  • Opening and distributing incoming mail and franking outgoing mail.
  • Scanning, photocopying and filing on a daily basis.
  • Typing correspondence and other documents as required.
  • Binding accounts and other documentation.
  • Ordering couriers when required.
  • Supporting the Administration Team as and when necessary.
  • Raising invoices & credit notes
  • Archiving of documents and files
  • Preparation of expenses.
  • Maintaining & diarising meeting rooms.
  • Ordering stationery.
  • Undertaking any reasonable request by any member of staff.

Working arrangements
The working week: Normal hours of work are 37.5 hours per week, to be worked from 9.00am to 5.30pm.
Location: Your principal work base is our Nottingham Office. The role will be office based.

Person Specifications (Essential Experience & Skills)

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience working in an office/reception
  • Background working in a corporate environment

SYSTEM EXPERIENCE

  • Strong MS Office skills (i.e., Word, Excel and MS Outlook)

OTHER SKILLS

  • Good telephone manner and confidence to answer client calls
  • Strong typing skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Proactive
  • Positive and helpful attitude towards doing whatever admin tasks may be required
