Receptionist
Our Yallaroo aged care facility in Albury welcomes applications for the role of Receptionist.

As the first person to greet all visitors in person or by phone, this role is key to providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment. You will liaise with and follow up on enquiries and calls from residents, family members, visitors and staff alike. The receptionist is also responsible for:

  • answering phone enquires promptly and provide information or direct the enquiry as necessary
  • ensuring the reception area is kept in a professional and tidy manner
  • maintaining information booklets and agreements as required
  • collating and prepare general information as requested by managers or residents
  • maintain office equipment and performing general administrative tasks including managing petty cash floats/balances
  • support the broader administrative team with back up assistance as needed

Responsibilities:

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE FOR THIS ROLE WILL:

  • have exceptional people skills; ability to develop and maintain relationships
  • possess prior experience in reception and or similar administrative roles
  • have the ability to communicate at all levels - oral and written
  • be organised and the ability to manage competing priorities and information
  • have intermediate to advanced computer skills (Microsoft suite - Word, Excel)
    Whilst experience in aged care is not required, the commitment to making a difference to the lives of our residents and their families is a key success factor in this role.
    The hours for this role are 37.5 per week.
