Yeomans Volkswagen Van Centre Exeter is looking for a Receptionist to join their team and work alongside them in their Volkswagen dealership.

The Receptionist will provide a professional and efficient front of house service to all areas of the business where you will meet and greet customers as they arrive as well as manning the switchboard and various other administration duties.

THE IDEAL RECEPTIONIST WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • Professional and switched-on approach
  • Previous experience managing a busy switchboard
  • Excellent receptionist skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Refined telephone manner
  • Exposure within a professional services environment is preferable
  • Exceptional MS Word / Excel / Google Docs working knowledge

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the switchboard and answering all calls promptly and courteously
  • Transferring incoming calls and keeping call records up to date
  • Delivering a high standard of customer service
  • Meeting and greeting clients upon arrival
  • Outbound calls following customer visits ensuring we deliver exceptional standards
  • Ensuring that the reception area and waiting areas are consistently maintained to high standards
  • Provide refreshments to customers
  • Manage the post and couriers
  • General administration when required including scanning, printing and faxing etc
  • Working with online shared spreadsheets and keeping these up to date
