THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Reclamation Planning Team is a group of specialists that strives to provide a positive business impact through managing and restoring an inventory of sites across western Canada. Working closely with the Reclamation Operations Team, Planning provides support through the organization of overall programs and providing information on the same. Our ideal candidate is well organized, adaptable to change, and collaborative as this position includes working with others across the team. Your willingness to ask questions, attention to details, and passion for driving continuous improvement will contribute to your success in this role.

  • Shift schedule: 5 x 2, 8-hour shifts

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Report Preparation : Compile and prepare weekly team reports using various dashboards and Microsoft Excel to provide insights and updates to management.
  • Authorization for Expenditures (AFEs): Prepare and manage AFEs in Aucerna, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Management of 3 rd Party Access : Create and manage remote access for third-party consultants to our systems, ensuring smooth collaboration.
  • Site Status Reviews : Review sites to determine readiness for reclamation and facilitate the acceptance process in SiteView.
  • Team Support : Provide assistance to teammates as needed, including data maintenance in SiteView, processing Reclamation Certificates and other administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:

  • Team Oriented : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Technical Proficiency : Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs is essential; experience with SiteView and Accumap/Abadata is an asset.
  • Attention to Detail : Strong organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy in preparing reports and handling information.
  • Initiative and Learning : Willingness to ask questions, learn, and take initiative in driving your day to day work and improving existing procedures.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions.
