NOTICE OF APPENDIX D SUPPORT STAFF VACANCY (REQUIRED UNTIL JANUARY 2026)

The Opportunity: The incumbent is responsible for establishing and maintaining accurate student records, which form the basis of the MCU enrolment and audit reports, College enrolment planning, and the student academic history.
The incumbent is responsible for organizing and managing all key institutional hardcopy and digital files for record-keeping and documentation management as it applies to the Registrar’s Office.
The incumbent will liaise with academic departments, IT and other areas to problem solve, create new efficiencies and determine functionality requirements of the student information system as it applies to the student record.
The incumbent is responsible for the coordination of the Registrar’s Office convocation details, parchment printing and education verifications.

What you need to be successful:

  • two year diploma in business, office administration, communications, human resources, marketing or information management
  • a minimum of three years of experience in an office setting where there is heavy emphasis on accuracy and records; preferably in a Registrar’s Office and/or in an office requiring data management skills
  • the incumbent has superior attention to detail, organizational, computer and technical skills, as well as comfort with new technologies and database management
  • demonstrated advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access skills considered an asset
  • commitment to ongoing learning with regards to data management and analytics considered an asset
  • Ongoing learning will be required in this role
  • an understanding of enrolment services is considered an asset
  • excellent organizational, record-keeping, and data entry skills
  • excellent written/verbal communication and customer service skills
  • MS Office Suite and computer proficiency required
  • strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within a collaborative team environment

This is an Appendix D support staff vacancy, Payband G – $33.55-$38.88/hour (starting rate $33.55/hour), 35 hours/week, required until January 2026.
NOTE: I/O staff, Appendix D and PT staff are considered internal applicants.
