Role Overview:
As the Recoveries Officer/Team Leader, you will spearhead our recovery operations, overseeing a small team of professionals while managing large debt collections and handling intricate cases. Your expertise in liquidation, bankruptcy, external administration, PEXA settlements, and debt
restructuring will be crucial in driving successful outcomes. Your strong negotiating skills and ability to manage difficult clients will be key in resolving complex issues and ensuring effective recovery processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Debt Collection: Manage and oversee large debt collections, ensuring efficient and effective recovery strategies.
- Case Management: Handle complex cases involving liquidation, bankruptcy, and external administration with precision and expertise.
- PEXA Settlements: Liaising with solicitors to ensure accurate and timely processing of PEXA
settlements.
- Debt Restructuring: Implement and manage debt restructuring plans to optimize recovery outcomes.
- Client Relations: Address and resolve client complaints professionally, demonstrating excellent negotiation skills.
- Leadership: Guide, mentor, and supervise a team of recoveries officers to meet and exceed performance targets.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain meticulous attention to detail in all recovery processes and documentation.
- Process Improvement: Develop and implement strategies to enhance recovery processes and outcomes.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Proven track record as a Recoveries Officer/Team Leader with significant experience in liquidation, bankruptcy, and external administration.
- Expertise: In-depth knowledge of PEXA settlements and debt restructuring.
- Skills: Strong negotiating skills with a demonstrated ability to manage difficult clients and complex cases.
- Leadership: Effective team management and leadership capabilities.
- Accountability: Provide regular management reporting and collaborate with finance /accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation
- Professionalism: High level of professionalism and resilience in a high-pressure environment.
