JOB DESCRIPTION
The individual will be part of the Bank’s Recovery and Resolution (RRP) Team within Corporate Treasury. The team is responsible for the development and production of Recovery and Resolution Plans, from understanding regulatory requirements to delivering the final submission.
The individual will be focused on supporting the efforts required to meet RRP requirements:
- Performing data queries from financial and operational systems required to be included in plan content or for decision making
- Drafting and editing content in Recovery and Resolution Plans and supporting playbooks
- Building and testing capabilities across the organization and partnering with internal stakeholders to enhance framework
- Drafting presentation materials for board and management committees
- Updating policies and procedures
- Administering user access and support for Workiva and SharePoint
- Status reporting and project management initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with changing regulatory environment and preparing responses to regulatory inquiries
The team has great visibility to senior management as its work product is regularly used in discussions with management-level governance committees, Board of Directors and supervisory authorities.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically three or more years of related experience
PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience in accounting, regulatory compliance, technical writing, risk, operations, audit or data-oriented roles
- Work effectively in a team environment to meet tight filing deadlines
- Must be a self-starter and able to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and successfully manage multiple competing priorities
- Strong verbal and inter-personal skills and ability to communicate effectively with various levels of management
- Demonstrate ownership and a collaborative attitude to build cross-functional partnerships
- Experience with Workiva Wdesk platform a plus
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there’s an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
