JOB DESCRIPTION

The individual will be part of the Bank’s Recovery and Resolution (RRP) Team within Corporate Treasury. The team is responsible for the development and production of Recovery and Resolution Plans, from understanding regulatory requirements to delivering the final submission.

The individual will be focused on the following efforts required to meet RRP requirements:

  • Driving and owning content in Recovery and Resolution Plans and playbooks (financial, operational, and/or governance)
  • Managing data collection and aggregation to support plan content and requirements, in a controlled and documented manner
  • Understanding changing regulatory requirements and building new processes across the organization through partnerships with subject matter experts
  • Building recovery and resolution capabilities testing framework across the organization and partnering with internal stakeholders to implement proper oversight, reporting, and remediation efforts
  • Building appropriate governance mechanisms and supporting recovery and resolution strategy, forecast and valuation efforts
  • Developing presentation materials for board and management committees for updates on RRP and Plan approvals

The team has great visibility to senior management as its work product is regularly used in discussions with management-level governance committees, Board of Directors and supervisory authorities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically eight or more years of related experience

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in recovery and resolution planning, capital or liquidity, regulatory compliance, or operational risk/audit related roles
  • Work effectively in a team environment to meet tight filing deadlines
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and successfully manage multiple competing priorities
  • Strong verbal and inter-personal skills and ability to communicate effectively with various levels of management
  • Demonstrate ownership and a collaborative attitude to build cross-functional partnerships
    The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there’s an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
