Description:
Silver Springs is seeking a full time Therapeutic Recreation Assistant (TRD required) Monday-Friday 8a-4p
SUMMARY:
The primary role of the Therapeutic Recreation Assistant is to run and implement therapeutic social and cognitive entertainment as well as activities, trips and events for residents.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have certification as a Therapeautic Recreation Director
Must have experience running and implementing therapeutic programs, activities and events for seniors or physically/ mentally challenged adults in a clinical setting.
Must be able to work with all disciplines in a challenging multi-cultural environment that target specific behavioral and/or patient groups as needed.
Proficiency in English, including speaking, reading, and writing, required
