Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

The Recreational Program Manager serves as a key part of WYSA for supporting all aspects of the club’s Recreational program. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Recreational Program Manager ensures the recreational players and coaches are supported, thus providing the best soccer experience possible. This person will be responsible for supporting and managing the operation of the Recreational program, focusing on the administrative aspects. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will help deliver a highly organized program to all members. You will work directly with members who attend weekly soccer sessions and will be the point of contact for this program.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working with youth sports programs
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills (we use Microsoft 365)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
    This job description outlines the primary duties and responsibilities of the position but is not all-inclusive. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at the discretion of the Executive Director to meet the evolving needs of the club.
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: $25.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 5 – 6 per week

Experience:

  • Sports Management: 1 year (preferred)

Responsibilities:

  • Support team formation and schedules with the Club Administrator and ED
  • Coordinate uniform requirements and distribution
  • Work with ED to identify teams or age groups needing extra technical support
  • First point of contact for team administrative questions
  • Work with the Club Administrator to manage the distribution of equipment for coaches
  • Work independently and self-manage up to 20 hours of work per month
  • Monitor email regularly, and respond to inquiries or requests within 48 hours
