As an integral part of the Human Resources team, the Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to support our mission of improving mental health and well-being in our community. This role involves collaborating with various departments to identify staffing needs, managing the recruitment process, and ensuring a positive candidate experience.

How will I contribute

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for various positions within the organization.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
  • Utilizing established job descriptions, create and maintain job postings that accurately reflect the roles and responsibilities of the position.
  • Utilize various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and community organizations, to identify potential candidates.
  • Engage with passive candidates and build a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Attend job fairs, networking events, and industry conferences to promote Kings View as an employer of choice.
  • Review and screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
  • Conduct phone screens and participate in interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders.
  • Manage the interview process, including feedback collection and decision-making.
  • Ensure a positive and professional experience for all candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Provide timely communication and feedback to candidates, addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Ensure recruitment practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of recruitment activities and candidate information.
  • Prepare and analyze recruitment metrics and reports to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and processes.
  • Work closely with the Human Resources team and other departments to support organizational goals and initiatives.
  • Assist with onboarding and orientation for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What I bring

  • High School Diploma (or Equivalent) and 3 years proven experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or similar role.
  • Class C Driving License
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations. Strong understanding of recruitment and selection processes. Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and other recruitment tools.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to present and interact with people in a warm, professional manner. Demonstrated organizational capabilities, detail oriented, and the ability to handle multiple priorities and complex projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong organizational and time management skills. High level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. Previous experience in a non-profit or behavioral health setting. Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP). One Point HMC (HRIS) experience highly desired.
