Overview:
As Recruiter Europe, you will oversee the overall recruitment needs and be responsible for attracting, identifying, and hiring top talent for our European business. You will work closely with the leaders to understand current and future recruitment needs and support them throughout the whole recruitment process by ensuring an outstanding recruitment experience by providing seamless support, clear communication, for both, candidates and hiring manager. You will lead employer branding initiatives across Europe with the goal to attract top talents.
You can work in our offices in Amsterdam (Rozenburg) or fully remote!
Responsibilities:
- Support hiring managers throughout recruitment cycle, manage AT-System (ICIMS)
- Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle (support with opening positions in the system, screening, holding initial interview, scheduling interviews, etc.).
- Work with hiring managers to align staffing requirements with organizational goals and provide expert hiring advice.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the European recruitment strategy, aligning it with the company’s overall business objectives and market trends.
- Utilize a variety of sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, and direct sourcing, to identify qualified candidates and build talent pool
- Conduct initial screening interviews and coordinate assessments to evaluate candidate suitability.
- Monitor and manage review platforms like Glassdoor or Kununu, responding to feedback.
- Contribute to the development and execution of employer branding strategies to attract top talent and enhance the company’s reputation as an employer of choice in Europe.
- Collaborate with the global HR team to create compelling employer value propositions and messaging.
- Manage the company’s online presence on job boards and social media platforms.
- Actively participates in industry fairs to promote the company as employer of choice and attract skilled professionals in the freight forwarding industry.
- Young talent: Collaborate closely with the HR Business Partners in the countries to establish the AIT Europe “young talent” program. Build contact with universities and schools, lead recruitment for students and recent graduates to join our Training/Dual Training program across Europe.
- Provide KPI’s (open roles per country, time to hire, turnover rate, recruitment experience, number of apprenticeships, training programs, etc.) and prepare insightful reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as Recruiter / TAS across European countries.
- Experience in the freight forwarding industry is essential for this role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in English and Dutch, any other European language, especially German, is a plus.
- Experience with employer branding initiatives and social media recruitment.
- Knowledge of diversity and inclusion best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
