Description:

As the Recruiter, you will be responsible for managing the recruitment process for Personal Trainers and Member Service Representatives across all Fitness World locations. This role involves developing recruitment strategies, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and collaborating with department heads to ensure we attract top talent for these key positions.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a recruiter for 1 – 3 years. Preferably with experience in recruiting for fitness or customer service positions.
  • Experience recruiting in a multi-unit environment for several positions at a time.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes, employment laws, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS).

Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment Strategy and Planning : Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates for Personal Trainer and Member Service Representative positions. Work closely with Executive team and Human Resources to understand job requirements, team needs, and organizational goals.
  • Candidate Sourcing and Attraction: Actively search for potential candidates through resume databases, LinkedIn, industry events, and networking opportunities to source top candidates for the roles.
  • Talent Pool Management: Maintain a pool of qualified candidates for current and future job openings.
  • Screening and Interviewing: Evaluate resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates for initial interviews. Perform initial phone screenings and face-to-face interviews to assess candidates’ qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate Interview Processes: Schedule interviews with hiring managers and provide feedback on candidates.
  • Reference Checks: Conduct reference checks and verify employment history for final candidates.
  • Administrative Duties: Keep accurate records of candidate interactions, interview notes, and recruitment metrics.
  • Reporting: Prepare recruitment reports and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and identify areas for improvement.
  • Promote Company Culture: Act as a brand ambassador for Fitness World showcasing the company’s values, culture, and benefits to prospective employees.
  • Develop Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates and industry professionals to strengthen the talent network.
