JOB OVERVIEW:

RWJ Barnabas Health is seeking a full-time Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition and Innovation Team. This recruiter will focus on recruitment efforts for Allied Health at RWJBarnabas Health.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in business, human resources management, or relevant field of study required
  • Planning, communication, and organizational skills are required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Fully embody the culture and core values of RWJBarnabas Health and lead by example
  • Including, but not limited to, the ability to work independently, have high attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and meeting established deadlines
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Proven negotiation skills that demonstrate the ability to close offers to candidates
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems, CRM, HRIS, and/or customer tracking databases to manage data and candidate relationships

Preferred:

  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • Prior talent acquisition, sourcing, or recruitment experience required; 3-5 years strongly preferred
  • Applicant tracking systems ATS experience strongly preferred

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:

  • Delivers on candidate, hiring managers, and other stakeholders requests with a sense of urgency to build a reputation of trust
  • Communicates with potential candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders in an authentic way
  • Conveys messages clearly and concisely in a timely manner
  • Forms genuine relationships and is trusted by candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders
  • Executes and maintains effective recruitment/retention programs and develops strategies to attract and retain qualified candidates
  • Maintains a deep understanding of the RWJBH enterprise and its recruitment strategies, hiring needs, and business goals
  • Leverages modern recruitment practices, including technology and social media strategies, to produce results that meet the business hiring needs
  • Ensures a professional and enjoyable candidate experience throughout the selection, interview process, and offer extension
  • Provides assistance to current RWJBH employees regarding interdepartmental transfers and promotional opportunities
  • Maintains applicant tracking system and HR reporting as required
  • Assist with planning and execution of Talent Acquisition and Innovation special events i.e., Recruitment Events, Open Houses, Orientation, etc

Responsibilities:

  • Screening and selecting qualified candidates
  • Handle the hiring process from application to offer
  • Executing talent acquisition strategies and building internal and external relationships
  • Reporting to the Manager of Nurse Recruitment in the Southern Region, this role will contribute to business needs by handling the recruitment processes for Registered Nurses
  • Execute recruitment strategies, including building a strong candidate pipeline of highly qualified and diverse talent for vacant positions
  • Ability to prioritize vacant positions and to focus on building a candidate pipeline for those critical position openings
  • Establishing and fostering productive working relationships with hiring managers, internal and external candidates, and other stakeholders to achieve assigned hiring goals
  • Using interpersonal savvy to foster productive working relationships with others in Talent Acquisition and Innovation to drive results
