QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred.
  • 2-3 years of related experience and/or training.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excel at good communication skills in a team environment
  • General knowledge of the transportation industry

Responsibilities:

  • Manage recruiting initiatives to develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified applicants for the region.
  • Ensure that every applicant has a positive recruitment experience.
  • Maintains a strong relationship with branch managers ensuring communication and consistent implementation of Trimac recruiting and retention initiatives.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement within the recruitment and retention process.
  • Works with Terminal Managers to help close the deal on applicants
  • Collect relative compensation and benefits statistics for compensatory wage analysis per area.
  • Works closely with the Manager of Recruiting to help identify advertising avenues to target new driver hires at the branch level.
  • Attends local and national recruiting events to build applicant pipeline.
  • Attends local community and terminal events (Open houses, job fairs, etc).
