QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred.
- 2-3 years of related experience and/or training.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Excel at good communication skills in a team environment
- General knowledge of the transportation industry
Responsibilities:
- Manage recruiting initiatives to develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified applicants for the region.
- Ensure that every applicant has a positive recruitment experience.
- Maintains a strong relationship with branch managers ensuring communication and consistent implementation of Trimac recruiting and retention initiatives.
- Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement within the recruitment and retention process.
- Works with Terminal Managers to help close the deal on applicants
- Collect relative compensation and benefits statistics for compensatory wage analysis per area.
- Works closely with the Manager of Recruiting to help identify advertising avenues to target new driver hires at the branch level.
- Attends local and national recruiting events to build applicant pipeline.
- Attends local community and terminal events (Open houses, job fairs, etc).
