Description:

POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Human Resources, the TEMPORARY Recruiter plays a pivotal role in sourcing, attracting, and selecting top-tier candidates to join our organization. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing effective recruitment strategies, building a strong talent pipeline, and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. The Recruiter is expected to be customer service-oriented and exhibit a high degree of diplomacy and discretion.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-Secondary Education in Human Resource Management from a recognized educational institution or relevant experience required;
  • Minimum of two (2) years recruitment experience;
  • Previous experience, knowledge or understanding in Indigenous culture an asset;
  • Experience connecting with and/or recruiting Indigenous candidates a strong asset;
  • Excellent communicator with a strong command of written and spoken English; French or Indigenous language skills considered an asset;
  • Exceptional relationship building skills;
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail;
  • Knowledge of Canadian federal employment/labour laws and general human resources policies and procedures;
  • Effective working skills of Microsoft and Adobe software products.
