Utilus is a fast growing and highly ambitious software delivery company. We design, build, manage and operate highly scalable and complex software projects in the heart of the primary business processes of our clients, including Tennet, Eneco, Dura Vermeer and Nederlandse Loterij. We are also actively involved in independent developments such as a platform for managing power network congestion, and a platform for managing zero-emission last mile delivery.
Our 24/7 operations department makes sure that our systems process many billions of transactions a year, while constantly optimizing the amount of resources used.
We work on sustainability by focusing mainly on assignments in the heart of the energy transition, but also by helping our clients replace dozens of so-called legacy systems with forward thinking, simple, cost-effective solutions for complex problems.

ABOUT THE JOB

Utilus is presently in search of a Recruiter to become a part of our rapidly expanding team. In this capacity, you will be responsible for identifying and recruiting highly competent and skilled candidates for a range of positions within the Utilus organization. Collaborating closely with hiring managers to comprehend job requirements, formulate job descriptions, and devise effective sourcing strategies to attract the most suitable candidates. The Recruiter will have full ownership over the recruitment function, overseeing initial screenings, interviews, and assessments to evaluate candidates’ abilities, expertise, and compatibility with the company culture. They will supervise the entire recruitment process, ensuring a favorable candidate experience and prompt hiring. The Recruiter assumes a pivotal role in constructing a proficient and diverse team that can contribute to the growth of Utilus.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand job requirements and develop job descriptions.
  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract the best candidates.
  • Utilize various recruiting tools and techniques to identify and attract candidates.
  • Conduct initial screenings, interviews, and assessments to evaluate candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Manage the recruitment process from start to finish, ensuring a positive candidate experience and timely hiring.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to create effective onboarding plans for new hires.
  • Participate in job fairs and other recruiting events as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in recruiting
  • Develop and implement employer branding strategy
  • Support management with using recruitment data and metrics
