Description:

The Recruiting Manager is responsible for developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract top talent for positions within the Corporate Office, government agencies or related organizations. This role involves leading the recruitment team, managing the recruitment process, collaborating with various stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • U.S. citizenship
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. Master’s degree a plus.
  • Proven experience in recruitment and talent acquisition, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, tools, and technologies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies tailored to the unique needs of our government customers and partners.
  • Align recruitment processes with organizational goals, values, and culture.
  • Forecast hiring needs based on business growth, workforce planning, and market trends.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor practices to stay ahead in the talent market.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the recruitment team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Set performance goals and provide regular feedback and coaching to recruitment staff.
  • Ensure the team stays updated with best practices and industry trends in talent acquisition.
  • Oversee the sourcing and selection of qualified candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, recruitment agencies, and networking events.
  • Develop and maintain a strong employer brand to attract top talent.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes, tools, and technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Plan and coordinate recruitment events, including job fairs, open houses, and informational sessions.
  • Represent the organization at conferences, career fairs, and other outreach events to promote employment opportunities.
  • Implement metrics and KPIs to measure the success of recruitment efforts.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and senior leadership to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
  • Provide guidance and support to hiring managers on interviewing techniques and selection criteria.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to build a robust talent pipeline.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain recruitment reports and dashboards to track and analyze hiring metrics.
  • Present recruitment updates and insights to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives in recruitment practices to ensure a diverse candidate pool.
  • Implement strategies to attract and retain diverse talent.
