Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Recruiting Manager to lead our talent acquisition efforts across a variety of roles, including early career/college recruiting, professional construction staff, and skilled tradespeople such as carpenters. This role is critical in shaping our workforce, building talent pipelines, and ensuring we attract and retain top talent in the construction industry.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in construction recruiting, with a strong understanding of the construction industry and the specific needs for both professional and trades roles.
- Excellent networking skills and experience developing relationships with educational institutions and trade organizations.
- Strong sourcing and headhunting skills, with experience using various recruiting platforms and tools.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to recruiting and hiring.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working in a high-volume recruiting environment.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment CRM tools.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities:
- Early Career/College Recruiting: Develop and maintain relationships with universities, trade schools, and community organizations to establish a strong early career and internship pipeline. Organize and attend career fairs, networking events, and on-campus recruiting activities.
- Professional Construction Staff Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for professional construction positions, including project managers, estimators, and field supervisors. Work with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create effective sourcing strategies.
- Trades Recruitment: Build and maintain a strong pipeline of skilled tradespeople, including carpenters and other critical construction roles. Partner with apprenticeship programs, unions, and community organizations to source talent.
- Talent Pipeline Development: Implement innovative sourcing techniques and strategies to proactively identify and engage potential candidates for future needs. Develop and maintain a database of qualified professionals and tradespeople.
- Employer Branding: Collaborate with the Recruiting & Marketing Specialist to create engaging content that promotes the company as an employer of choice within the construction industry. Highlight our company culture, growth opportunities, and employee success stories.
- Onboarding and Retention: Assist with the onboarding process to ensure new hires have a positive experience. Implement retention strategies to maintain engagement and reduce turnover, particularly in trades roles.
- Reporting and Analytics: Track and report key recruiting metrics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make data-driven decisions.
