Position Overview
We are looking for a Recruitment Administrator who will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the recruitment process to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment experience for candidates and hiring managers alike. The Recruitment Administrator will maintain compliance with company policies and create a positive organizational experience for candidates.
Salary: $47,000 - $53,000 yearly
Shifts: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Canmore

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as in recruitment or HR administration
  • Computer literacy (MS Office Suite).
  • Experience using Ceridian Dayforce – an asset.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with multitasking and prioritization abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and maintain professionalism.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment Process Management
  • Identify recruitment needs with all departments and locations.
  • Create and post job advertisements on appropriate platforms.
  • Utilize various methods to identify and attract potential candidates, including job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals.
  • Design and implement overall recruiting strategy with the help of the People & Culture Manager and the Operations Team.
  • Conduct initial resume screenings and phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications when needed.
  • Manage and update the applicant tracking system to ensure all job advertisements are current.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers and assist in conducting interviews and evaluating candidates when required.
  • Initiate onboarding activities, communicating consistently with candidates and hiring managers throughout the onboarding process.
  • Prepare and extend job offers to selected candidates.
  • Maintain accurate and organized recruitment records and documentation.
  1. Candidate and Hiring Manager Communication
  • Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates and feedback.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by being responsive and professional.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand job requirements and candidate profiles.
  • Consistently communicate with managers to ensure job board is up-to-date.
  • Provide guidance and support to hiring managers on recruitment best practices.
  • Attend hiring fairs to represent the Basecamp.
  • Establish external relationships with recruitment agencies, programs, and student fairs.
  • Promote a strong Basecamp culture.
  1. Administrative Support
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed.
  • Assist with organizing job fairs.
  • Assist with organizing and coordinating social events such as staff parties, fundraisers, and volunteering activities.
  • Identify opportunities for improving the recruitment process and candidate experience.
  • Implement new recruitment strategies and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Handle special projects and assignments assigned by the Executive Team.
