POSITION SUMMARY:

Position: Full Time
Type: Recruitment Administrator
Location: Fort McKay
Schedule: 40-hour work week. Monday to Thursday (Alternating Friday off Schedule)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Diploma/ Certificate in Human Resources studies and/or RPR designation is considered an asset.
  • Two or more years of direct recruitment administration experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
  • Experience with HRIS is considered an asset.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with Hiring Managers and potential candidates in the course of the work.
  • Experience with high-volume recruitment is an asset.

Responsibilities:

ROLE SUMMARY:

  • The Recruitment Administrator assists with the recruitment and onboarding of employees for all business units or other assigned responsibility based on recruitment needs. The Recruitment Administrator plays an integral role in ensuring efficiencies and creating a positive candidate and new hire experience. Provides support to the recruitment team in effective coordination of job postings, system tracking, onboarding and document production. Also coordinates projects in support of recruitment strategies.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as the main point of contact during the onboarding process, responsible for creating and receiving onboarding packages.
  • Collect and upload required certifications and training documentation relevant to each position into an appropriate database.
  • Assist in coordinating Pre-Employment testing relating to the organization’s hiring practices.
  • Assist with creating job postings and maintaining applicant tracking system by updating jobs and candidate profiles.
  • Provide back-up support in full-cycle recruitment including sourcing and pre-screening resumes with prospective candidates, via online boards, internal database, recruitment events and additional creative methods to determine both skill and cultural fit for positions.
  • Answer general employment questions from potential applicants, via phone, e-mail, social media, and/or text messaging.
  • Day to day administration of recruitment projects and initiatives including maintaining spreadsheets and metrics for the Recruiter and HR team as required.
  • Handling sensitive information in a professional manner.
  • Data reporting in required databases.
  • Schedule candidate phone and on-site interviews.
  • Collaborate with our team of recruiters to improve upon existing processes and programs.
  • Ensure positive applicant experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Demonstrate outstanding planning, organization, prioritization, calendar management, and operates with a sense of urgency. Works collaboratively with recruiting team to manage workload and priorities.
