Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

At Car Finance 247, we’re a growing, dynamic team driven by innovation and customer success. As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a passionate and organised Recruitment Apprentice to join our People Team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to kickstart their career in recruitment within a supportive, vibrant environment. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in recruitment processes and be ready to learn and grow as part of a collaborative team.
As a Recruitment Apprentice, you will have the chance to make a real impact in our recruitment efforts, while also gaining a valuable qualification. We will enrol you in a Business Administrator Level 3 Qualifications course to help develop your skills and knowledge in recruitment practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Job Advertising: Regularly post job adverts across multiple job boards and recruitment channels to attract top talent.
  • CV Screening: Review and shortlist CVs, identifying the best candidates to match open positions.
  • Job Ad Writing: Write compelling and clear job adverts based on detailed role descriptions and requirements.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks such as drafting offer letters, managing candidate documentation, and updating recruitment spreadsheets.
  • Employee Records Management: Maintain and update employee records within the HR Information System (HRIS) to ensure accuracy and compliance with data protection laws (GDPR).
  • New Hire Onboarding: Support the onboarding process for new hires by checking in with them regularly and ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Background Checks: Coordinate with HR to ensure all necessary background checks are completed for new hires.
  • Inbox Management: Manage and organise the Recruitment Team’s inbox, responding to candidate queries and scheduling interviews.
  • Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Build and maintain strong working relationships with Hiring Managers across departments to ensure recruitment needs are met.
  • Inductions & First-Day Preparation: Assist with first-day preparations, ensuring new employees are properly inducted into the company and understand their roles.
