Description:

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU -

  • Keen to learn. An interest in achieving a Foundation Certificate in HR Practice (formerly CPP) or Foundation Degree in Payroll Management
  • Prior administration or office experience
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent customer service skills, written and verbal communication skills
  • IT literate, ability to pick up new systems quickly
  • Excel in customer service and team building skills
  • Recruitment, payroll or HR experience would be desirable

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to customers, utilising the recruitment system TribePad in preparing job adverts, shortlisting applications, facilitating interviews, carrying out pre-employment document checks and issuing contracts of employment.
  • Create, maintain and update employee records across a range of in-house IT systems such as Oracle and ServiceNow, ensuring the quality and integrity of employee data in line with GDPR regulations
  • Carry out accurate payroll calculations and produce appropriate and correct contracts for employees
  • Actively keep up to date with industry changes, e.g. Right to Work, DBS and terms and conditions for staff
  • Develop good working relationships with internal HR colleagues, managers, staff and external customers by keeping in regular contact via phone and email
  • Plan and organise own work, deal with both routine and unexpected tasks, work flexibly across the delivery function to meet demands on the business and support multi- disciplinary working
