RECRUITMENT BUSINESS PARTNER – ESTATE AGENCY SALES & LETTINGS

We’re looking for a Recruitment Business Partner to join our People Team in Milton Keynes, supporting our thriving Estate Agency business nationwide.
In this dynamic role, you will play a vital part in shaping and delivering an end-to-end recruitment model, recruiting the best talent to support our estate agency sales and lettings teams. Working closely with Regional Managers and Directors and the wider Connells Group, you will ensure our branches are staffed with top talent in a timely and cost-effective manner. From sourcing skilled candidates to advising and upskilling managers on recruitment best practices, you’ll make a meaningful impact on our team’s growth and success.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS NEEDED TO SUCCEED AS A RECRUITMENT BUSINESS PARTNER:

  • Previous experience in recruitment, ideally with exposure to estate agency or retail branch-based hiring.
  • Expertise in talent pooling, recruitment data analysis, and management reporting.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with a consultative approach.
  • Familiarity with various selection and assessment methods, including interviews, assessment centres, and psychometric testing.
  • Proficiency with ATS systems and MS Office tools.
  • Strong organisation, prioritisation, and time management skills.
  • Experience supporting a multi-site branch network or regional structure is advantageous.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide a dedicated recruitment service for our Sales and Lettings teams across multiple branches.
  • Directly source candidates through headhunting, database searching, LinkedIn, and other methods.
  • Support hiring managers by providing training on interview techniques, using the recruitment system, and organising assessment centres.
  • Organise and facilitate recruitment events, open days, and talent attraction activities.
  • Set up and maintain active talent pools to ensure proactive, agile recruitment for key roles.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand and meet branch-specific hiring needs.
  • Generate and share regular recruitment insights, reports, and market intelligence.
  • Design and deliver candidate attraction campaigns with a focus on enhancing our social media presence and brand.
