Responsibilities:

This role is a full-time (37 hours per week) role but consideration and flexibility will be given to lesser hours. Start/finish time is negotiable across Monday to Friday.

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and committed Recruitment Co-Ordinator, with excellent attention to detail, to join our small HR team in a permanent role from October 2024.
You will have a good knowledge of HR practices and ideally an understanding of the safer recruitment guidelines, laid out in Keeping Children Safe in Education, as well as being able to role model the values of the school.
Working with the HR Manager, a HR Advisor and the HR Administrator, you will work to a team of ca.400; teachers, teaching assistants and support staff across 6 sites, advising and supporting senior staff through the recruitment and onboarding processes.
You will be confident in building professional working relationships with all stakeholders within the school across multiple campuses. An excellent communicator with a strong customer focused approach, you will be required to think laterally to adapt your knowledge and experience to the context of a growing school, whilst supporting potential new team members through our onboarding process. There is a real need for you to be up to date on current requirements in schools in respect of government guidelines. You will be required to respond flexibly and pro-actively to multiple and competing demands working on an operational front.

You will be responsible for:

  • The recruitment process of all new Linwood employees across all campuses, from start to finish.
  • Liaising with universities and overseeing the recruitment of Industrial Placements.
  • Building strong relationships with candidates – supporting their onboarding journey.
  • Managing pre-employment checks for all new starters, whilst ensuring compliance with legislation and best practices.
