Description:
**We are looking to fill a contract/freelance position for a maternity leave with the potential to stay on after. Strong preference given to candidates in Edmonton and surrounding areas.

Daeco HR is currently looking for a Recruitment Consultant with 5+ years of headhunting experience who is organized, resourceful, bold, fast-paced and a forward-thinking leader to join our team and help our clients:
Build relationships with potential candidates and hiring managers.
Strategize with clients and assess their vacancies to ensure the right people are in the right seats at the right time.
- Use with our solid recruitment processes including assisting with all stages of the recruitment process:
DESIGN – Create a targeted job ad, post the job and identify top talent. We make sure the job ad attracts the best in the industry.
- Use with our solid recruitment processes including assisting with all stages of the recruitment process:
SOURCE – Scour LinkedIn and other social platforms, ask around, use your extensive network. We turn over every rock for our clients.
- REVIEW – Review resumes and short list candidates. We do all of the leg work for our clients!
ASSESS – Behavioural and job assessments - we use Predictive Index (PI) which is an assessment tool that has been specifically validated for recruitment. We gather data to ensure the candidate is a good culture fit.
INTERVIEW – In-person/virtual interviews with the hiring manager. We make sure we are that extra set of experienced eyes and ears for our clients.
REFERENCE CHECK – Compile detailed reference checks from the candidate’s manager, co-worker and client. We ask for strengths and weaknesses and make sure they are the absolute best fit for the client now and in the future.
- OFFER – Negotiate and present the offer. We ask the questions about how this offer aligns with the client’s current total compensation structure.

This position is not for someone who is looking for a stable and consistent 40-hour workweek. We require daytime availability because that’s when your clients will want to meet or talk with you.
