Description:

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience (minimum 3 years) in human resource management activities with a focus on recruitment, supplemented by a university degree with major coursework in human resource management, is required; or an equivalent combination of experience and training may be considered. The successful incumbent requires excellent written communication skills with an ability to communicate clearly and consistently utilizing tact and diplomacy with a broad range of diverse contacts, including senior leaders; excellent research skills with an ability to professionally manage and deliver priorities while managing multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously; a strong client service mindset with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and sensitivity to confidential information that has legal and policy implications; a detail-oriented, process-focused, and systems-focused mindset; experience in Microsoft Office suite. Experience in a post-secondary environment or working with individuals in a post-secondary environment is preferred. Additional relevant training in human resources, communications, project management, or research is an asset.
SALARY $56,212 - $65,938 per annum (Non-Bargaining)

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Manager, Senior Leadership Recruitment, the Recruitment Coordinator is an integral member of the senior leadership recruitment team supporting all steps of the recruitment process for senior leadership and executive search committees. In collaboration with the senior leadership recruitment team, this position will draft high-quality job advertisements and detailed candidate briefs, researching and strategically drafting advertising plans, and then posting approved job advertisements. Other duties may include conducting in-depth research and identifying high-potential senior leaders for candidate outreach; developing and maintaining related documentation and initial communications; drafting search related documents (e.g. committee meeting agendas, assessment matrices, interview guides, consultation summaries, briefing notes, etc.); completing preliminary candidate assessments through reviewing application materials against requirements; performing supplementary research on candidates as required; preparing applications for search committee review; supporting coordination of meetings; and assisting with special project work including related procedures and process development. The Recruitment Coordinator will also foster a collegial culture grounded in respect and inclusion by delivering services that support the principles of Indigenization, equity, diversity, inclusion, anti-racism.
