Description:
THE CIVIL NUCLEAR CONSTABULARY (CNC) IS AN ARMED POLICE SERVICE THAT’S DEDICATED TO THE NUCLEAR INDUSTRY. OUR VISION IS TO BE RECOGNISED AS A PROVIDER OF A WORLD-CLASS SERVICE FOR THE PROTECTION OF NUCLEAR MATERIAL AND FACILITIES. GIVEN THE CRITICAL NATURE OF OUR WORK, IT’S VITAL THAT WE RECRUIT SKILLED AND COMMITTED PROFESSIONALS TO JOIN OUR HARD-WORKING TEAM. AS RECRUITMENT COORDINATOR, YOU’LL HELP US TO FIND AND SELECT THE VERY BEST FOR OUR TEAMS.
Our Police Officer Resourcing team are critical to our work, and you’ll support the team by providing administrative recruitment support and guidance, for both our internal promotion processes and external recruitment, right from initial advertising through to onboarding, providing managers with the ability to fill critical roles. You’ll collaborate closely with candidates, to provide advice on our recruitment and vetting processes; providing a professional customer service to enhance the candidate journey.
You’ll onboard new employees through our HR ERP system and ensure that they have everything they need for their new roles with us. Alongside this, you will coordinate and manage end-to-end processes for starters, movers, promotions and pay increments, and ensure queries are answered in a timely manner.
To be successful you’ll have experience of working within a recruitment administration and a KPI/SLA driven environment, delivering a positive candidate experience throughout. You’ll be computer literate with a good working knowledge of MS Office applications, and it would be advantageous, but not necessary, if you had experience of using Oracle and e-recruitment/applicant tracking systems. You’ll be organised with great attention to detail and used to a varied workload and meeting strict deadlines without fail – being able to work to agreed targets and service level agreements is key to ensuring our process remains on track.
As police staff the public expect us to display the highest standards, values and professional qualities at all times. The CNC values and Code of Ethics applies to all police staff and sets out the principles and standards of behaviour we expect to see, and you are responsible for displaying and delivering these to the highest standards.
This role has been assessed as suitable for hybrid working with a 60% / 40% split, which will be discussed and agreed with the successful individual.
