Job Description:
Dragonfly Shipping is seeking an authentic and engaging Recruitment Coordinator to join our Head Office team in West End. In this newly created role, you will be integral in managing the recruitment process, ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and hiring managers, attracting the best talent to join our team, ensuring the growth and success of our organisation. You will join a fast-growing organisation that puts development at the forefront of the employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with management at both Station and Head Office levels to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies to meet those needs.
  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing and selection.
  • Support employee onboarding to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Maintain current and implement new recruitment policies/procedures while identifying opportunities for process improvements and streamlining of recruitment activities.
  • Assist in employee training, development, and retention initiatives as required.

About you:

You will be someone who thrives on providing candidates with an exceptional experience. You should have prior experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes and understand how to improve this process to provide efficiency for operational managers.

  • Proven experience working in a Recruitment or similar HR role.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of the logistics or transport industry is advantageous
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.
