ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
- Minimum two years of recent and related experience in student recruitment and/orstudent services in a large post-secondary institution.
- Experience communicating university rules, guidelines and procedures to high school students, applicants and the general public.
- Demonstrated event planning experience and experience organizing large promotional events.
- Experience using Content Management Systems, and a student information system (e.g. ROSI)
- Experienced and highly skilled with presenting to large numbers of people
- Experience working with a prospective student database (e.g. CRM/Slate).
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to tactfully deal with people at all levels.
- Ability to present to different audiences
- Demonstrated organizational ability, and the ability to meet competing deadlines.
- Ability to apply program and university knowledge, guidelines and procedures with a strong customer services focus that informs all interactions with students, parents, faculty, teachers and guidance counsellors.

Responsibilities:
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Determining logistical details and activities for events and/or programming
- Coordinating logistics required to support virtual recruitment initiatives
- Providing detailed information regarding admission requirements to prospective students and applicants
- Acting as the first point of contact for general enquiries
- Coordinating the shipping of recruitment materials to schools and event organizers
- Resolving issues within the scope of the role and escalating problems as required
- Preparing draft correspondence using templates
