JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, this position is responsible for processing our applicant pool to fill our seasonal program and hourly roles. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that the most qualified talent is sourced and hired to meet the requirements of the Program for the Foundation.

DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?

  • Post-secondary degree, diploma or certificate in Human Resources or a suitable combination of education and experience.
  • Previous exposure to recruitment/selection responsibilities related to post-secondary candidates seeking seasonal employment.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing a high volume of process driven tasks that can be repetitive in nature.
  • Ability to become proficient in and navigate an applicant tracking system (Greenhouse).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration and adaptability are important.
  • Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment where team members and partners are in various time zones and locations.
  • Bilingual (French/English – oral and written) considered an asset.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the camping and/or youth development fields considered an asset.
  • Previous exposure to Tim Hortons Foundation Camps is considered a strong asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assigned aspects of the recruitment/selection cycle for assigned positions including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing (where required), reference checking, job offers and onboarding as per established processes.
  • Assist with developing creative sourcing and recruiting strategies to identify talent pipelines and select top talent for current and future opportunities.
  • Ensure assigned candidate sourcing activities are completed as assigned.
  • Promote and deliver a positive, consistent candidate experience to enhance the Foundations employment brand throughout the recruiting process.
  • Report on assigned recruitment/selection activities across Camp locations.
  • Ensure all assigned risk management activities are completed as it relates to recruitment and selection.
  • Ensure compliance with provincial legislation and established human resources procedures as they relate to assigned recruitment/selection activities.
  • Represent Tim Hortons Foundation Camps by attending job fairs as assigned.
  • Participate in human resources related projects and programs as required.
  • Assist with the administration of other human resources programs as required.
