KeolisAmey Docklands (KAD) is an award-winning Light Rail Operator, proud to operate the Docklands Light Railway (DLR), which serves a vibrant community at the heart of the East End of London. We are looking for a Recruitment Manager to join our HR team on a 6 month fixed term basis.
Working with the KAD HR Generalist team and HR Shared Services this role will oversee the hiring process, design and implement recruitment procedures with the goal of attracting and hiring quality candidates to meet KAD’s current and future needs.
The post holder will also be required to design and implement a new onboarding process in preparation for the new franchise.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Update current and design new efficient recruiting procedures (e.g. authorisation, recruitment and selection) ensuring best practice and compliance with employment legislation.
  • Design a new onboarding programme and procedures.
  • Develop recruiting metrics dashboard (e.g. time to hire, cost per hire, diversity monitoring).
  • Identify, implement and develop sourcing methods (e.g. LinkedIn).
  • Review recruitment software and suggest the best option for company needs, including integration into HRIS.
  • Advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques and best practice.
  • Recommend ways to improve our employer brand in recruitment.
  • Coordinate with department managers to forecast future hiring needs.
  • Develop an annual programme for supporting job fairs and career events with local education settings and local authority groups.
  • Build the company’s professional network through relationships with HR professionals, the community, colleges and other partners.
