ROLE: RECRUITMENT OFFICER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with key stakeholders from all levels of the business
  • Stay up to date with current and relevant employment legislation and advise colleagues accordingly of any changes that could affect the recruitment process
  • Understand and incorporate ED&I principals into the recruitment process and support the embedment of this within the wider Hobbycraft team
  • Oversee the effective administration of the recruitment process including general administrative duties and recruitment inboxes
  • Undertaking and organising the screening, shortlisting, interviews, and selection of candidates as required
  • Identify and source suitable recruitment channels to the business minimising costs
  • Community outreach such as attending careers fayres, job events and seminars
  • Develop creative sourcing techniques to expand on the talent pool
  • Overseeing the recruitment budget ensuring compliance
  • Managing recruitment advertisements through all appropriate channels
  • Day to day management of external Recruitment Agencies,
  • Updating job descriptions and engaging adverts for variety of positions
  • Delivering training to colleagues in relation to recruitment
  • Proven in house recruitment experience or previous experience of working within a HR/Recruitment department
  • Experience of working with candidate databases
  • Regular use of online job sites including LinkedIn, to source talent.
  • Experience of recruiting with multiple job disciplines
  • Stakeholder management at all levels
  • Up to date knowledge of employment legislation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organisation & administration skills
  • Used to working at pace to tight deadlines
  • Attention to details & accuracy
