JOB SUMMARY

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Onboarding Team Leader to manage our large team of Onboarding Co-ordinators that process all administration for new starters through their pre-employment recruitment checks recruitment across our Children’s division.
This is an exciting time to join a highly enthusiastic team, committed to recruiting people across our group whose aim is to make a difference to the lives of the children within our care.
This role will be a combination of both home and office working from our welcoming Support Centre based in Halesowen. It is anticipated that you would typically work 4 days from home and 1 day in the office however flexibility would be required to suit the business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the performance of the team of Onboarding Co-ordinators, supporting and providing guidance on prioritising workloads
  • Monitoring and delivering performance targets monthly
  • Reporting KPIs and targets to individuals
  • To complete weekly/monthly performance and business reports
  • Ensure all pre-employment checks (DBS, right to work checks, offer letters/contracts and referencing checking) are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • To onboard candidates when required (this could be during team annual leave/unexpected absences)
  • Support with day to day and ad hoc duties within the compliance and internal recruitment team.
  • Responsible for the onboarding and compliance sign off for new starters across the division.
  • Build strong working relationships with managers and candidates offering relevant advice and support throughout the onboarding process.
  • Ensure the company compliance procedures and processes are implemented in the most efficient and effective manner.
  • Conducting audits and reports on key compliance checks.
  • Ensuring the HR system is up-to-date and data input information accurately.
