About the role
We have a new opportunity, on a 12-month fixed term contract, for an engaging and organised individual to join our small and friendly team as Recruitment & Talent Advisor. This new opportunity is ideal for someone who has a passion for sourcing talent and experience in maximising multiple recruitment and attraction tools on a day-to day basis.
Encompassing management of all stakeholders involved in the Recruitment process, working closely with hiring managers and HR colleagues to support the 360-onboarding process for each candidate to ensure a smooth and robust process.
An exciting opportunity requires a proactive individual, to build up networks and proactively engage within the local community to find the best talent for our college.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on relevant employment legislation and inform hiring managers about changes that may potentially impact recruitment and resourcing.
  • To oversee and manage the recruitment administration and screening processes, ensuring a seamless process from initial contact to offer of employment.
  • Participate in recruitment fairs and career events and other recruitment events as required / necessary.
  • Responsible for the coordination of shortlisting and interview set-up, including finalising the schedule, calling candidates, sending invites, and liaising with managers to ensure that all paperwork is sent prior to interview

Skills, knowledge and expertise

QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING

  • CIPD qualified to at least Level 5 (Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject area) or studying towards/willingness to study toward is essential.

SKILLS AND EXPERTISE

  • Minimum or 2 years’ experience in a similar role within in-house recruitment.
  • Self-motivated, persistent, and diligent; a keen networker with a proven ability to headhunt and attract talent.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work comfortably with senior colleagues
