We are recruiting for an experienced Bilingual Recruitment Team Lead to join our growing Human Resources team. This role will be based at our Corporate Head Office in Brossard, Montreal QC.
This is an on-site position.
EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience in a high-volume recruitment role with increasing responsibilities; experience in a healthcare environment is a plus.
- Experience leading a team an asset
- Undergraduate Degree/Diploma in Human Resources, Commerce, or a related field preferred; CPHR designation or progress towards it is desirable.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Solid leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and guide team members, foster collaboration, and drive performance improvements.
- Knowledge and understanding of recruiting and sourcing techniques
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics
- Proficient in HR-related systems and tools, such as ATS, HRIS (e.g., ADP),
- Proven ability to prioritize duties/projects, multi-task, and work independently in a fast-paced environment with constant demands.
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Customer service-oriented, with a sensitivity to hiring needs of the Regional Leaders and understanding importance of diplomacy and confidentiality
- Advanced level proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
- Fully bilingual in French and English is required

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Recruitment Leaders to coordinate and manage the recruitment process, including job ad creation, monitoring, and applicant screening.
- Supervise and mentor Recruitment Advisors and Coordinators to ensure consistency in processes and foster a culture of continuous improvement in recruitment practices.
- Provide strategic counsel to hiring managers, helping them develop tailored recruitment strategies to meet their specific needs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external partners (e.g., job boards, universities, colleges, etc.) to maintain effective relationships and ensure responsive partnerships.
- Work collaboratively with HR and Payroll teams on recruitment and onboarding efforts.
- Leverage social media platforms (e.g., Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.) to identify and engage potential candidates.
- Prepare interview questions and other selection materials in conjunction with hiring managers.
- Continuously update job posting templates and ads to align with evolving business needs.
- Propose and implement innovative ideas to enhance recruitment processes and improve candidate experience, including exploring alternative recruitment platforms and headhunting for hard-to-fill roles.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies throughout the recruitment process.
- Oversee the preparation of employment agreements (offer letters) and facilitate new hire onboarding.
- Conduct regular recruitment reports to assess current hiring needs and identify future trends.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by leadership.
