GFL Environmental is looking for Recycling Sorters for Western Canada’s largest and newest Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) in Calgary, AB!
This role entails efficiently sorting recyclable materials and delivering outstanding customer service to both internal and external stakeholders of the company. Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Recycling Sorter, you will play a crucial role in our recycling operations, contributing to the efficient processing of recyclable materials. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Sorting: Accurately sorting various recyclables, such as paper, glass, plastics, and metals, from incoming waste streams.
  • Quality Control: Ensuring that only acceptable materials are included in the recycling process and identifying and removing contaminants.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety guidelines and protocols to create a secure and hazard-free working environment.
  • Equipment Operation: Operating and maintaining sorting equipment as needed.
