QUALITY CHECKER – QA4

An exciting opportunity has come up within a multi-national company based in the S20 area of Sheffield for a Quality Checker.
The company designs and manufacturers standard and bespoke rail power systems, both trackside and vehicle mounted.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• You do not require direct experience in this role however some electrical experience previously is required.
• Must have strong attention to detail and be a methodical thinker.
• Must be able to follow precise instructions.
• Must show willing and strong work ethic.

• Goods-in inspection.
• Checking both pre-test and post-build inspections.
• Ensuring all stages are compliant with client specifications.
• Follow check lists and working procedures to ensure items are built to the required specification.
• Using precise measuring equipment including tape measures and metal rulers.
• Using hand tools such as screwdrivers.
• Using a digital camera to capture data and proof of build.
• Accurately record all quality control documentation/digital images onto the company database.
